Where have all the soldiers gone? Gone to graveyards every one
You lie and deceive / A world war can be won / You want me to believe
Through the flames and through the fire / Cities burn / We don't give a damn
We're fools to make war / On our brothers in arms
We make all of our suns the same / Every one will suffer the fire we've made / They all explode just the same
War, what is it good for - Absolutely nothing, listen to me / Oh, war, I despise / 'Cause it means destruction of innocent lives
She collapsed with a flag in her hand / A flag white as snow / A hero of war / Is that what they see
Mama, mama, mama, tell us what the hell is goin' on / Can't we all just get along? / Father, Father, Father help us / Send some guidance from above
How many times must the cannonballs fly, before they're forever banned?
Take me to the magic of the moment / On a glory night / Where the children of tomorrow dream away / In the wind of change
Imagine there's no countries, it isn't hard to do, nothing to kill or die for
All we are saying is give peace a chance.
